Muzzle Flash

This is a reupload of a game made for a game jam with the theme "Shot In The Dark". I have updated this game since my initial submission to the game jam but the original version can still be downloaded from this page.

CONTROLS:
W/S - Move forward/back
A/D - Turn left/right
Left click - Fire gun
Esc - Pause

HOW TO PLAY:

The Exit: You start the game in front of the exit which is locked by a 4 digit code. Each of the digits are written on the walls somewhere in the maze.

The Map: In the corner of your screen there is a mini map that shows the location of the exit (marked by the write arrow) and the location of the 4 digits needed to unlock the gate (marked by the coloured arrows). When the gun is fired, the map will temporarily show the layout of the maze. The map also highlights the position of any nearby noises. The bigger the red square, the closer the noise is to you.

The Gun: You also are equipped with a gun that creates a loud noise and a flash when fired. The flash of light can be used to illuminate your surroundings and is necessary to read the numbers written on the walls.

The Monster: A monster freely roams the maze and will kill you if it catches you. The sound of its footsteps will be marked on your map so you can keep track of its location. If the monster hears a gunshot, it will immediately go towards the source of the sound to investigate.
